First the bad: ADV Films (anime distributor) is having major problems right now (see the Anime Corner Store blog [link] ). This is not good, and hopefully something will be worked out, like what happened back in January or so, but this isn't looking so good. Their panel at Anime Expo should be very interesting (Friday).


Next, the great news: Funimation has signed a deal with Geneon to handle "select" titles (Press release from Anime News Network: [link] ) (RACS blog: [link] ). This isn't the most totally awesome deal, since it isn't the whole catalog (though it possibly could be more titles in the future, maybe... I hope so).
